Pineapple Valley Golf Club (Banyan Golf Club) is widely regarded as the second-best course in Hua Hin. It is usually in excellent condition and offers a well-designed layout. That said, it still can’t quite compete with Black Mountain, which remains the clear number one. Considering this, we feel Pineapple Valley’s green fee should be lower — and that’s why we didn’t award the full score for “value.”
The course itself is very versatile and truly caters to golfers of all levels. With six tee boxes on every hole, it can be as challenging or as forgiving as you want. Even if you play from the forward tees, you’ll still face plenty of test with strategically placed water hazards, waste bunkers, and sand traps that keep you on your toes.
After your round, Pineapple Valley also shines with its facilities. The Terrace Restaurant offers all-day international dining, with a mix of Western and Thai cuisine plus daily specials. Wine lovers will appreciate the walk-in wine cooler stocked with fine selections. For a more relaxed atmosphere, Mulligan’s Pub is the perfect spot to unwind with a few cold drinks while enjoying panoramic views of the course and Burmese Mountains — best of all at sunset.
