Despite its flaws, visit Hua Hin Korea golf course, it really deserves to be saved.
This is one of two 18 holes low green fee golf courses throughout the year in the Hua Hin area.

Accuracy is more important than length to get a good score, very technical, may not suit beginners.  

Front nine has great holes such as 3, 5 and 9, but nothing beats Robert McFarland back nine, it must be among the most exciting layouts in the world. Incredibly demanding. Amazingly, there are Eagle and Birdie opportunities as well. In a magical way he manages to make a short par 4, where you can go for the green in just one stroke, if you take the chance, it could be Eagle. 

The last par 3 is a great birdie chance, maybe Robert McFarland way of apologizing?

It was the Milford group that built the Milford Paradise hotel right on the beach and Milford Paradise Golf Club was part of the project. The developer probably had little experience in building a golf course. You should expect them to make a working water supply, but no. 

It's a shame because their choice of golf course architect Robert (Bob) McFarland was brilliant. Unfortunately, the Milford group was more into the hotel operation than the golf course, which meant that the course was quickly rented out.

Unfortunately, water shortages became a major problem for those who rented the golf course. They simply gave up, which is why the golf course has changed its name many times, here are the old names: Milford Golf Club, Milford Paradise Golf Club, The Eagle Milford Golf Club, Hua Hin Seoul Country Club.

Today, Hua Hin Korea Golf Club runs the golf course, they took over in 2016. Their priority has been to get water to the greens and fairways, they have laid down countless meters of water pipes. The course now looks green and nice in most places, not bad since it used to look like desert for at least 10 years. The bunkers are still not playable and the clubhouse is worn.
